What are the responsibilities and job description for the Special Education Teacher - Inclusion (Interim) position at Clinton High School?
Clinton High School is looking for a caring, hard-working teacher to support students in a Special Education setting.
Duties include: Diagnosing and evaluatting specific students’ needs as needed or requested, planning and implementing a program of study that meets the individual needs, interests, and abilities within the district curriculum as well as the Individual Educational Program for the student, monitoring and documenting student progress and communication progress with appropriate students, staff, parents, and other members of the school based team(s), and collaborating with regular classroom teachers, other specialty teachers, and related service providers in the development of a variety of strategies to meet the educational needs of special education students.
Must hold a minimum of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college and must hold a valid Tennessee teaching license with an endorsement in special education.
***This is an interim position for the first 9 weeks of the 2026-2027 school year***
