Job Overview:
As our Office Administrator, you'll play a key role in managing the day-to-day operations of our glazing shop. From clerical and administrative tasks to coordinating quotes, orders, and installations, you'll help ensure our customers and staff receive the support they need. Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily administrative functions of the glazing shop
- Prepare and manage quotes and orders for clients and vendors
- Monitor and assist with scheduling and tracking glass installations
- Answer phone calls and provide professional, friendly customer service
- Maintain filing systems and ensure all documents are organized and up to date
- Perform general office duties such as email correspondence, data entry, and supply ordering
- Support bookkeeping and financial tasks using QuickBooks
- Coordinate with installers, staff, and vendors to ensure jobs are completed on time
- Maintain a clean and organized office environment
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in office administration or a similar administrative role
- Proficient in QuickBooks for financial and bookkeeping activities
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Friendly, kind, and approachable demeanor with a professional attitude
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
Preferred Qualifications (Not Required):
- Previous experience in a construction, glazing, or trade-related industry
- Knowledge of scheduling software or CRM tools
