What are the responsibilities and job description for the Long Term Substitute: Occupational Therapist position at Clinton Elementary?
The Clinton Public Schools, a Prek-12 district, is seeking skilled OT. The ideal candidate will hold valid licensure or evidence of working towards licensure.
Using the 3:1 model the OT provides services in classrooms, individually, and in small groups as an Occupational Specialist by way of :
(1) Adding to our curriculum learning that reflects the occupational skills of our students on IEPs and 504s.
(2) Consulting with staff to implement the curriculum, and
(3) Teaching these skills in a classroom, small group or individual setting.
The OT administers assessments to students and prepares corresponding reports, prepares updates on reports for presentation at district team meetings, attends team meetings, writes IEPs and 504 accommodations and corresponding progress reports.
The OT position requires a Master's Degree and valid/current licensure with the MA Division of Professional Licensure as an Occupational Therapist and MA DESE licensure in Occupational Therapy.
