Kitchen Staff (5.75 hrs daily) - 9 month position

Summary

We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic kitchen staff to join our team at Clinton Junior High School. This part-time position involves working 5.75 hours daily working 9 months out of the year, contributing to the preparation and serving of nutritious meals for students. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food service, a commitment to fostering a positive dining experience, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and cooking of meals according to established recipes and dietary guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, including washing dishes, cleaning surfaces, and disposing of waste.
• Serve meals to students and staff in a timely and friendly manner.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including food handling and storage procedures.
• Assist with any other duties as assigned by the kitchen supervisor or management.
  
  

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience in a food service or kitchen environment is a plus.
• Ability to work as part of a team and support a positive work atmosphere.
• Must have or be willing to obtain a food handler's certificate.
