Schedule: Monday – Saturday (5 ½ days per week) 5 am start
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Warehouse Logistics Supervisor to oversee day-to-day operations in our produce warehouse and distribution center. This role is ideal for a motivated professional with a strong background in fresh produce handling, cold chain management, and team supervision. The Warehouse Logistics Supervisor ensures that all incoming and outgoing products are handled efficiently, safely, and according to quality standards. Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily warehouse operations, including receiving, grading, storage, order picking, packing, and shipping of fresh produce.
- Lead and motivate warehouse associates and line supervisors to achieve productivity and quality goals.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and oversee stock rotation to ensure product freshness.
- Coordinate logistics activities including scheduling inbound and outbound loads, transportation planning, and dock management.
- Monitor produce quality, temperature, and storage conditions to ensure compliance with food safety and company standards.
- Collaborate closely with procurement, sales, and quality control teams to ensure timely order fulfillment and minimal waste.
- Train warehouse staff on food safety procedures, proper handling of perishable items, and equipment use.
- Implement and uphold workplace safety, sanitation, and regulatory compliance according to company policies.
- Analyze warehouse performance metrics and recommend process improvements for efficiency and cost savings.
- Comply with and maintain all Food Safety programs.
Qualifications
Education:
- Associate’s Degree required; Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field preferred.
Experience:
- Minimum 3–5 years of warehouse or logistics experience in fresh produce or perishable food distribution.
- At least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role overseeing warehouse or production line staff.
Skills & Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of cold storage operations, temperature monitoring, and produce handling requirements.
- Knowledge of food sanitation and regulatory requirements.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), Microsoft Office, and logistics software.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including Saturdays and early morning or extended hours as needed.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in refrigerated environments (34–55°F).
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods while supervising warehouse floor operations.
- Frequently required to reach with hands and arms and climb or balance.

Pay: $60,405.20 - $62,353.20 per year
