Job Title: Maintenance Worker / Bus Washer (Part-Time) 2:00P - 7:00P
Reports To: Maintenance Coordinator / Director of Operations
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Summary: Responsible for cleaning and maintaining all transit vehicles used on a daily basis by performing the following duties daily, weekly, quarterly, or annually determined by the Maintenance Coordinator by performing the following duties.
Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Ability to perform such cleaning duties as sweeping, mopping of floors, and vacuuming using appropriate cleaning equipment.
- Ability to perform regular maintenance of company facility and grounds up to and including lawn mowing, trimming of shrubs, and trash removal.
- Ability to dust and wash windows, mirrors, glass, window casing.
- Ability to successfully clean interior of vehicles.
- Washes walls and hand rails to remove such items as splash marks, finger prints and grease marks.
- May be required to drive or move buses within the service yard.
- Regularly empty trash from vehicles and property.
- Ability to perform vehicle inspections when needed.
- Requests supplies as needed.
- Ability to report damages, malfunctions, and other irregularities of the vehicle to Mechanic & or Maintenance Coordinator.
- Turns in lost and found articles to Maintenance Coordinator as needed.
- Ability to follow company policy as well as MIOSHA and OSHA safety regulations.
- Ability to properly clean and maintain equipment and work area at the end of each shift or as directed.
- Ability to keep storage and work areas clean at all times.
- Ability to assist with parts inventory as needed.
- Regularly cleans and organizes of the shop areas on a daily basis.
- Ability to perform other duties as assigned by Management.
- Attends various trainings as designated by Management.

Education/Experience:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED);
