Position Overview:

We are seeking a self-motivated and detailed-oriented Pest Control Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for diagnosing and addressing pest infestations, ensuring the safety and peace of mind of our clients, and upholding the high standards of our company. Key Responsibilities:

Pest control inspections and services: Conduct thorough inspections of residential and commercial properties to identify any pest control issues and determine the most effective treatment method. Apply products in accordance with industry standards and Clint Miller Exterminating protocols.

Customer Service: Communicate clearly with clients to explain treatment plans, answer questions, and provide guidance on pest prevention strategies.

Documentation: Maintain accurate records of services provided, including treatment methods, pest identification, and follow-up requirements. Turn all information in to your dedicated Customer Service Rep.

Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols, including the proper use of personal safety equipment.

Equipment Maintenance: Ensure that all equipment and tools are well-maintained, clean, and in good working order.

Sales and Upselling: Identify opportunities for additional services and promote company products and services to customers.

Emergency Response: Be willing to respond to emergency pest control situations as needed, including outside of the traditional working hours.

Qualifications:

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Experience: No previous experience is required. Clint Miller Exterminating will provide on-the-job training and all the knowledge you need for success.

Skills:

• Ability to read and write English and do simple math.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
• Basic mechanical skills for equipment maintenance.

Physical Requirements:

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs., climb ladders, bend over, and crawl. Must be able and willing to work in various environmental conditions including heat and enclosed spaces.

Prerequisites: Must have a valid NC driver’s license with no major driving infractions. Must be able to pass a drug test and background check.
