We're hiring Relief, Per Diem, and Float Counselors to provide direct support to clients across multiple programs and sites.
Starting Pay: $ 18.50- $ 20.50/hour
You Will
- Provide supportive, therapeutic counseling and ensure the safety of clients/guests.
- Assist clients/guests with daily living activities, including self-care, meals, recreation, and medication administration/documentation.
- Monitor clients/guests through rounds, hourly checks, and observations, responding to crises as needed.
- Greet, communicate, and respond to clients/guests with respect, empathy, and sensitivity.
- Maintain a safe, sanitary, and dignified environment for all clients/guests.
- Coordinate daily activities, including intake, bed assignments, meals, social support groups, and safety assessments.
- Document client/guest interactions, incidents, and progress in electronic records; communicate effectively with team members.
- Support clients/guests in engaging with systems of care and divert from emergency interventions when possible.
- Enforce program/shelter rules, including adherence to schedules, chores, and safety protocols.
- Participate as an active member of the treatment or support team, including preparing reports, presenting cases, and obtaining approvals when required.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to ensure the integrity of the facility and well-being of clients/guests.
