Clerical Assistant - Certifying

GENERAL STATEMENT OF RESPONSIBILITY:  Assist with clerical duties in Certifying Scientist Department.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 

• Coordinate paperwork flow between departments.
• Retrieve data for Certifier review.
• Organize data and Chain of Custody Forms (CCFs) for Certifier batch review.
• Transfer screening batches to appropriate locations and append POS pull chains to regulated screening batches.
• Process re-transmission requests.
• Process CCF fax requests.
• Keep work area neat and clean.
• Maintain and protect the confidentiality of all CRL, CRL subsidiaries, legal entities and client information.
• Be able to comply with all applicable federal, state, and local safety and health regulations that would apply to this job.

Other duties as assigned.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION:  High school diploma or equivalent.

EXPERIENCE:  Previous experience in an office or laboratory setting.

• Ability to regularly lift and move up to 50 pounds
• Must be able to “courier” CCFs and data from department to department.        

EQUIPMENT:  PC; copier, printer, name stamps; date stamp; file cabinets; bankers boxes.

OTHER:  Overtime required to meet customer needs, to be determined daily.  Weekend work as required according to workload.
