GENERAL STATEMENT OF RESPONSIBILITY: Ensures the flow of materials and products, meeting customer demand while minimizing costs and maximizing operational efficiencies.  

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:  
•    Drive Sales and Ops Planning. Analyze opportunities that derive from the S&OP meetings. Create the master schedule to support the growth of the company. 
•    Gather and interpret relevant data that supports the KPIs within the Supply Chain, Facilities, and Safety. Report on performance while identifying improvements.
•    Analyze ordering trends to optimize replenishment efforts while maintaining optimum stock levels. 
•    Analyze inventory waste and make recommendations for improvement.
•    Evaluation of new product opportunities to ensure standardization of product offerings and process.  
•    Maintain records and documentation within the eQMS document control system related to each department of the Supply Chain including Facilities and Safety. 
•    Oversee the Point of Care offerings and maintain the relationship with the suppliers.
•    Maintain the product catalog through the product life cycle. 
•    Maintain device management documentation and oversight to ensure compliance.
•    Provide an analytical review of projects, new business opportunities, and proposals to ensure they align across the complete supply chain. 
•    Collaborate with corporate leadership to facilitate and implement process improvements and Preventive Action to support the performance and needs of the business and its clients. 
•    Oversee change management requests and requirements.  
•    Collaborate with Supply Chain, Facilities, and Safety on developing requirements and standards.
•    An advocate of the Supply Chain teams when it comes to system testing. Lead end user testing to ensure no disruption between the Supply Chain operations. Train team in any new developments. 
•    Lead Root Cause analysis. Present findings along with the corrective action that was completed.
•    Maintain risk mitigation strategies within the Supply Chain, Facilities, and Safety. 
•    Maintain and protect the confidentiality of all CRL, CRL subsidiaries, legal entities and client information.
    Be able to comply with all applicable federal, state, and local safety and health regulations that would apply to this job.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION: Associate degree or relevant experience in related field

EXPERIENCE: Minimum 5 years warehouse and material handling experience emphasizing product flow, the quality of product, and process improvement.

•    PC skills, working knowledge of Microsoft Office, experience with an ERP system
•    Ability to be at work and on time
•    Ability and judgment to interact and communicate appropriately with other employees, clients and management

This position requires the necessary physical attributes for office work such as:
•    Standing and walking for extended lengths of time
•    Close vision requirements due to computer work

•    Bending or stooping
•    Squatting or crouching
•    Kneeling
•    Climbing to heights of 15 feet
•    Frequent and heavy lifting up to 50 pounds, some lifting in surplus of 50 lbs.

EQUIPMENT:  Computer terminal, Communication equipment, printers, 10 key calculator, shipping terminals, box knife, material handling equipment, storage racks, dock doors, dumpsters, ladder, dolly, pallet jack, trash compactor, forklift.


OTHER:  This position requires an acceptable driving record; high energy and constant movement; work outside of normal business hours as necessary according to workload; some weekend work required; exposure to heat, dust and noise. Forklift operator certificate or satisfactory completion of a forklift-training program within the first 30 days of employment. Forklift operator requires minimum age of 18 years. Trash compactor requires minimum age of 18 years. Travel between campuses and outside processing facilities is required.
