POSITION: PHYSICIAN REMOTE MEDICAL RECORD REVIEWER
Location: Texas, United States (Remote/Hybrid Flexibility)
Schedule: Part-Time | Flexible | Asynchronous Work Environment
ROLE OVERVIEW: As a Physician Remote Medical Record Reviewer, you will review medical records and provide objective medical analysis in accordance with established clinical and regulatory guidelines.
This role involves:
- Conducting independent medical record reviews
- Preparing detailed, well-supported reports
- Collaborating with internal teams when clarification or discussion is needed
- Maintaining strict confidentiality and compliance standards
- Applying clinical expertise to complex case evaluations
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Active Texas medical licensed providers with minimum of 4 years of clinical experience
- Texas resident
- Practice in one of the following areas: Orthopedic Surgery, Pain Management, Neurology, Neurosurgery, Chiropractic, Neuropsychology, or Radiology.
- Prior experience with any of the following is a plus: Medical chart review, Independent Medical Examinations (IME), Utilization Review (UR), peer review, disability evaluations, or expert witness or consulting work.
- Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills
- Excellent written communication and report-writing abilities
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance and confidentiality standards
- High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Ability to work independently and meet turnaround expectations
