Position Overview
The Research Scientists will work directly with the senior team on patient-centered COA
research to carry out plans to deliver strategies designed to better understand patient
experiences, such as symptom burden, health-related quality of life impacts, treatment
satisfaction, and tolerability, and COA measurement strategy within the context of developing
new drug treatments. This role offers the opportunity to work locally and globally on patient-
centered research studies across multiple therapeutic areas with various clients to ensure
inclusion of the patient voice.
Responsibilities
- Manage implementation of study activities to meet client needs and deliver against the
- Serve as Research Lead within a project team, leading client interactions on day-to-day
- Prepare study documents and deliverables for assigned projects.
- Conduct credible research aligned with the agreed-upon project design and purpose, such as
- Find ways to increase efficiency and present novel ways of conducting COA research on
Requirements
- Master's degree in psychology, epidemiology, educational psychology, outcomes or
- 5-6 years of relevant research experience in the life –sciences, pharmaceutical, or
- Presented at least 4 poster/podium at congresses and at least 4 peer-reviewed manuscripts.
- Ability to work as part of a team in a dynamic environment
- Excellent project management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and professional
- Strong qualitative skills
- Experience in conducting qualitative research (coding of interviews, use of software such
- Strong understanding of the COA discipline and the pharmaceutical drug development
- All of the above
- 7 years of relevant research experience in the life –sciences, pharmaceutical, or consultancy
- Presented at least 7 poster/podium at congresses and at least 7 peer-reviewed manuscripts.
