Position Summary
We are seeking a Licensed and Registered Dietitian (RD) Clinician with a strong background in clinical nutrition, EMR documentation, and quality assurance. The ideal candidate excels at time management, can lead and participate in Nutrition at Risk (NAR) meetings, and ensures timely completion of assessments and audits. This position requires a self-motivated professional with exceptional computer skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to high-quality resident care.
Key Responsibilities
Complete resident nutritional assessments, care plans, and documentation in compliance with facility policies and regulatory standards.
Conduct quality assurance audits on nutrition-related documentation and interventions, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
Lead and participate in weekly Nutrition at Risk (NAR) meetings, providing guidance on risk mitigation and resident care strategies.
Utilize PointClickCare EMR efficiently for resident documentation, assessments, and audits.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure resident-centered nutrition interventions.
Monitor regulatory compliance, staying up-to-date with CMS guidelines, professional standards, and best practices in clinical nutrition.
Maintain accurate records for internal tracking, reporting, and quality improvement initiatives.
Core Competencies
Exceptional time management and organizational skills to handle multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines.
Proficiency in PointClickCare EMR and general computer literacy, including typing, documentation, and software navigation.
Ability to complete assessments, documentation, and quality assurance audits accurately and promptly.
Strong ability to lead and participate in weekly Nutrition at Risk (NAR) meetings, guiding facility staff on nutritional risk management.
Knowledge of clinical nutrition standards, regulatory compliance, and quality improvement processes.

Professional communication skills, both verbal and written, to collaborate effectively with staff and families.
Qualifications
Must be a Licensed and Registered Dietitian (RD) in designated state.
Minimum of 3-5 years experience in clinical nutrition or related LTC healthcare settings preferred.
Experience with EMR systems, preferably PointClickCare.
Proven track record in documentation, audits, and leading clinical meetings.
Strong organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills.
