Nurse Manager of Gastroenterology professionals will lead at an independent gastroenterology ambulatory surgery center in a vibrant Midwest suburb, connected to a GI clinic and powered by a patient-first model; the Nurse Manager of Gastroenterology will collaborate with 2 physicians, 1 Nurse Practitioner, and a tight-knit staff to shape standards, mentor teams, and deliver safe, efficient care.
The Nurse Manager of Gastroenterology will collaborate with clinic leadership to oversee daily operations, staffing, and compliance, while ensuring high standards of patient care and safety. The role coordinates two ORs and manages a team of about 20 full-time staff and PRN.
Nurse Manager of Gastroenterology qualifications include supervisory experience with team building, at least three years of recent GI or ambulatory care preferred, knowledge of accreditation and Medicare requirements with QuadA familiarity advantageous, current ACLS and BLS, bachelor’s degree and prior management experience preferred, EMR proficiency, and a resourceful, long-term, go-getter approach supported by robust GI training.
