Reporting structure, support, and team: The Emergency Department (ED) Clinical Nurse Educator will report to the Director of Clinical Education and collaborate closely with the Emergency Services Nursing leadership and Emergency Medicine physician leadership to elevate readiness and outcomes. The Emergency Department (ED) Clinical Nurse Educator will design onboarding and annual competencies, develop preceptors, deliver bedside coaching, and advance pathway readiness for sepsis, stroke, cardiac, pediatric, and trauma care. The Emergency Department (ED) Clinical Nurse Educator will be embraced by friendly nurses and a diverse interprofessional team of physicians, advanced practice providers, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, behavioral health professionals, case managers, and EMS partners—all united to deliver safe, timely, patient-centered emergency care.
