Key Responsibilities:
- Provide patient-centered therapy to individuals recovering from serious illness, injury, or surgery, focusing on regaining independence.
- Conduct evaluations, develop individualized treatment plans, and use therapeutic interventions to improve functional mobility and cognitive skills
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team in order to ensure patient progress and success
- Educate patient and their families on adaptive equipment, safety techniques, and home exercises
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Therapy required, Masters in Occupational Therapy preferred
- Current, active Occupational Therapist license within state of practice (Texas)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
Compensation and Schedule:
- Pay rate starts at $83K but can be significantly higher based on years of experience and education
