Position Overview
Clinical Enrollment is hiring a Business Development Representative (BDR) to spearhead our outbound sales pipeline. This is an entry-level position designed to give you foundational corporate sales skills, deep industry knowledge, and an exceptional career trajectory.
As a BDR, you will be the engine of our sales team. Your primary mission is to identify potential clients, initiate high-volume outreach, and spark meaningful conversations to grow our lines of business

an additional $40,000 in on-target commission, bringing your total year-one earning potential to $80,000. We also provide full healthcare/retirement benefits and a flexible hybrid work model rooted in our Charlottesville office.
Core Responsibilities
· High-Volume Outbound Prospecting: Execute persistent outbound campaigns consisting of cold calling, structured email sequences, and professional networking via LinkedIn.
· Lead Generation & Qualification: Research target pharmaceutical, biotech, and research institutions to identify key decision-makers.
· Meeting Generation: Successfully bypass gatekeepers, handle objections cleanly, articulate Clinical Enrollment’s value proposition, and secure qualified initial meetings for the enterprise sales team.
· CRM Data Integrity: Systematically track, log, and manage all outreach, interactions, and lead statuses within our internal CRM to ensure pipeline visibility.
· Collaborative Alignment: Meet regularly with sales leadership to refine messaging strategy, target verticals, and localized campaign approaches.
Qualifications & Requirements
· Education/Experience: Bachelor’s degree required.
· Location: Ability to work in a hybrid capacity, with a mandatory requirement to be on-site at our Charlottesville, VA office at least once a week.
· Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal, written, and active listening skills. You must be articulate, confident, and persuasive.

· Tech Savvy: Fast learner capable of quickly mastering tech stacks such as CRM systems, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and email automation tools.
