Job Overview
The TEAM-ADNI Research Associate will play an active role in recruiting, consenting, and facilitating the enrollment of participants for a large, multi-site Alzheimer's disease research study. This project is a collaboration between Clinical Directors Network (CDN) and the Alzheimer's Disease Neuroimaging Initiative (ADNI) and will be conducted across 6 locations throughout the US. This is a part-time (14 hours per week), hybrid position involving both in-person and remote work. Candidates must live in Rockland County and be able to travel to Sun River Health centers in Rockland County, as well as to the Nathan Kline Institute in Orangeburg. Salary range is $25-28 per hour.
Responsibilities
Recruitment & Screening
- Identify and screen eligible patients from Sun River Health centers
- Build rapport with potential patients, obtain informed consent, and complete enrollment survey (in English or Spanish) through in-person or phone interviews using the study portal
Scheduling & Transportation
- Coordinate with the Nathan Kline Institute and remote ADNI teams to schedule baseline study visits
- Arrange and manage scheduling for additional study visits as needed
- Coordinate Quest Diagnostics appointments for participants in the remote study pathway
- Accompany participants to baseline visits at the Nathan Kline Institute and to Quest Diagnostics appointments as needed
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain accurate and ongoing documentation of study activities, action items, and outcomes in accordance with the policies and procedures in the approved protocol
- Collect study data and complete relevant data entry tasks
- Participate in weekly study meetings with the CDN and ADNI teams

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- Experience working with diverse older adult populations
- Experience working with vulnerable populations, including ethnic and racial minority communities
- Experience working with stakeholders in health systems
- Strong communication, organizational, and computer skills
- Ability to attend in-person and virtual trainings
- Spanish fluency strongly preferred
- Ability to complete Human Subjects Research training
- Ability to successfully complete a background check and medical clearance
