School Psychologist
Opportunity:
Clinical Consulting Associates, Inc. (CCA) is seeking a part-time or full-time Certified School Psychologist (CSP), Clinical Psychologist (CP), or like qualified clinician to provide testing and assessment (Psychometry) for Individualized Education Program (IEP) purposes within a school setting for the 25/26 school year. This role requires collaboration with educators, parents, and other professionals to create a safe and supportive learning environment, particularly those with learning, developmental, behavioral, and/or emotional challenges. Experience administering, scoring, interpreting, and authoring reports using standardized assessments is essential.
Independent contractor (1099) or traditional employment (W2) is an option available.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments using standardized testing and clinical observations to evaluate students' intelligence, cognitive, behavioral, emotional, educational, and overall social development is required.
- Collaborate in the development of individualized education programs (IEPs) with teachers and parents.
- Maintain accurate reports and overall documentation related to student evaluations and interventions.
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to promote positive behavior interventions in the classroom.
- Consult with staff on best practices for working with children with autism and other special needs.
- Provide individual and group counseling and direct therapeutic interventions to students struggling with various issues, such as anxiety, depression, behavioral problems, or social skill deficits. They also provide crisis intervention services when needed.
Experience:
- A Master's or Doctoral degree in Clinical, School Psychology, or a related field is required.
- State licensure/certification to work as a school psychologist within school settings.
- Experience working with children and adolescents in an educational setting is essential.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with students, parents, and staff is expected.
- Knowledge of best practices for supporting students with learning, developmental, behavioral and/or emotional challenges is highly desirable.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $55.00 - $75.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 40 per week
