At Clinical Associates, we make being healthy easier. We connect our patients to a seamless system of integrated medical care, which includes in-house specialists in areas of practice, from cardiology to podiatry.
We are seeking to hire an experienced Medical Assistant to support one of our Internal Medicine physicians at our office in Reisterstown located at 120 Westminster Pike!
Shift Hours: Monday 10:00am - 6:00pm and Tuesday-Friday 9am-5pm
Our ideal candidate must be willing to work in a fast-paced, team environment and provide excellent care and service to our patients. Internal Medicine / Primary Care experience of 1-2 years is required.
The Medical Assistant will be responsible for providing a positive, supportive, nurturing, yet professional experience whether triaging calls, rooming patients and assisting during an office visit, or providing follow-up to patients and/or families.
The Medical Assistant will perform a variety of services up to and including:
- Assistance during routine exams
- Recording a patient history and logging vital signs.
- Obtaining and tracking authorizations and test results
- Entering lab / diagnostic test orders
- Scheduling appointments, procedures, or imaging
- Providing Patient Service Representative coverage when needed.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- Current registration/certification with an accredited Medical Assistant program.
- Internal Medicine / Primary Care (Required)
- Excellent patient care and customer service skills.
- Detail oriented with the ability to efficiently multi task and stay organized
- Proficiency in EHR/ computer skills (Nextgen is a plus); CRISP; Cover My Meds
- Candidates selected for an interview will be required to take a medical skill assessment.
