Position Summary:
The System Analyst will be responsible for analyzing, designing, and improving business processes through the effective use of Salesforce and other enterprise systems. This role will serve as the primary liaison between operational departments, IT, and vendor partners to ensure system functionality, data integrity, and the development of scalable solutions that support organizational growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze current business processes and workflows to identify areas for improvement or automation.
- Serve as the organization's Salesforce subject matter expert, supporting customization, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Develop and maintain Salesforce objects, workflows, validation rules, flows, and reports/dashboards.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into functional and technical requirements.
- Support system integrations between Salesforce and other internal applications (e.g., HRIS, EHR, CRM tools).
- Monitor system performance and recommend enhancements for optimization and efficiency.
- Manage user roles, permissions, and system security within Salesforce.
- Conduct system testing, UAT, and quality assurance for new features and updates.
- Create and maintain accurate system documentation, including process maps, procedures, and training materials.
- Provide end-user training and ongoing support for Salesforce and related systems.
- Assist with data migrations, cleansing, and audits to ensure accuracy and integrity.
- Partner with leadership to implement best practices and support strategic initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3 years of experience working as a System Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar role.
- Hands-on Salesforce experience (Salesforce Administrator certification preferred).
- Strong understanding of Salesforce configuration tools including Flows, Process Builder, Validation Rules, Reports, Dashboards, and Data Loader.
- Experience with system integrations and APIs is a plus.
- Proficiency in business process analysis, requirement gathering, and documentation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in healthcare, clinical operations, or HR systems (MD Vita, HRIS, etc.).
- Experience with compliance-driven environments (OIG, HIPAA).
- SQL or reporting tool experience.
- Project management experience or certification.
