We are seeking a full-time academic surgical pathologist with subspecialty expertise in thoracic pathology to join a leading academic medical center’s Department of Pathology.
Our department is advancing strategic initiatives in Precision Diagnostics, including cancer genomics, multiplex biomarker theranostics, and digital pathology, and is engaged in a collaboration to establish a new adult inpatient cancer hospital dedicated to precision medicine.
Ideal candidates will have strong diagnostic skills, molecular diagnostics expertise (e.g., NGS, FISH), and an interest in clinical trials and companion diagnostics. Candidates with a robust research program, NIH funding, or laboratory experience are encouraged to apply and will receive support for research expansion.
The successful candidate will participate in diagnostics, training programs, and contribute to cutting-edge research. Applicants must be board certified in Pathology, with molecular pathology certification a plus. Appointment will be at an academic rank with full-time faculty status at Harvard Medical School.
