Requirements
- 2 years' experience with Meditech Expanse
- Subject Matter Expert specializing in the Laboratory (LAB) module within the Laboratory Information System (LIS).
- The specialist must understand core laboratory processing tasks, such as receiving specimens by specimen and managing comprehensive LAB Result Entry.
- The specialist is expected to understand the cancellation of product orders and how to explain changes to product order accounts when necessary.
- The position supports system configuration by helping define key dictionaries, such as confirming LIS Methods, defining LIS Containers, and reviewing LAB.
Key Responsibilities
- Participating in client and vendor project calls as assigned. Ensuring that Meditech MaaS Specialists perform work accurately and track the project well.
- Documenting current state and mapping needed application configuration and MDIs for future state functionality
- Collaborating with implementation teams to ensure a deep understanding of standard workflows for both the Laboratory.
- A primary responsibility is mastering specimen management routines, including entering and editing new requisitions, performing specimen edits, and correctly printing specimens.
- Providing a weekly summary of work status and progress.
