Job Requirements PT license in VA Graduate of an accredited PT program (BS, MPT, or DPT) Will consider new grad Schedule Information Shift : First Weekly Guaranteed Hours : 35-40 Weekend Hours : 8 hours (1 Saturday per month) Call Requirements : none Unit Specific Information Unit Information : Acute care and SNF Additional Details Unit Profile Facility Name : Clinch Valley Medical Center Floor : Acute care and SNF Trauma Level : Community Based Hospital Number of Openings : 1 Float Requirements : acute care and skilled nursing unit (SNF in the same building, different floor) Number of Beds : Average census 40-45 acute care patients; 6 patients on SNF Patient Ratios : PT evaluates 6-10 acute care patients per day; works with a PTA on SNF and a PTA on acute care Equipment : Walkers, crutches, hoyer lift (typical rehab equipment) EHR : Meditech Supervisor : Sarah Thompson PT Patient Population : adult / geriatric Must Have Skills / Experience : safe patient handling for mobilization of an acutely ill patient, written and verbal communication skills Preferred Skillset / Experience : acute care / SNF experience Common Diagnosis / Treatment : COPD, CHF, total hip and knee replacements Personality Fit : Friendly, confident, energetic
