Production Assembler 1st Shift

Climco Coils Company, an industry leader in manufacturing parts for GM, Chrysler, & other well-known companies, is hiring full time Assembly Operators for 1st shift (6:30am-2:30pm).

Assembly position opportunities include new project lines, opportunities for advancement in technical and leadership roles and on the job training. Advanced positions available for starting as well as advancement into (based on skill) include Mold Technician, Manufacturing Technician, Cell Lead and many other roles.

The Ideal candidate will have:

• Experience with measurement equipment
• Good attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• The ability to read and understand work instructions (written and verbal)
• The ability to adhere to Safety and Quality standards
• The ability to work for long periods of time on your feet
• A positive attitude

Requirements:

• Prior experience in a manufacturing environment
• Basic abilities in mathematics, reading, and writing
• Must be willing to rotate between jobs in a given work cell

Education- the following will be considered for advanced roles:

• High school or equivalent
• College or University certificates and degrees
• Vocational certificates and Journeyman Cards
• Advanced training certificates in manufacturing subjects and functions

In this role, you will be expected to:

• Learn and perform multiple assembly operations
• Follow Process Monitoring Plans and record data as needed
• Meet established production rates and work to help the team meet its overall production goals
• Learn how to set up, check, and use test equipment
• Learn and follow all QMS/ISO procedures
• Work in a pleasant and courteous manner while maintaining a neat and orderly work area
• Preform other related duties as assigned
