CNC Machining Department Opportunities and Programs offered at Climco Coils

• Apprenticeship programs for CNC Machinist Journeyman and Tool & Die with company funded, Federally accredited trade program in partnership with Eastern Iowa College.

Qualifications – Experience/Education/Skill Requirements:

• Required - Experience with measuring equipment and tools
• Required - Aptitude and familiarity with basic shop math (decimals, fractions, etc.)
• Required - Experience working with CNC Mills and/or Lathes
• Strongly Preferred - Trade school certification in related field preferred
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Capable of reading and following standard procedures and prints
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Must possess critical thinking/problem solving capabilities
• Ability to work with minimum supervision, and work well with others
• Excellent past work record (performance, attendance and attitude)
• Any related professional education or training a plus

Physical Demands:

• Ability to lift a maximum of 50 lbs.
• Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time
• Works within a manufacturing environment, with exposure to noise, heat, cold, fumes, and chemicals

You should be proficient in:

• Troubleshooting CNC Machines
• High School / GED
• Experience in a Manufacturing Environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
