The work
Own hiring from interviews through selection and offers within approved staffing, pay bands and employment terms, including a whole new team when needed. Make termination decisions within your management scope, following HR’s documentation and offboarding process. Develop staff, shift leaders and backup coverage.
Keep daily operations safe, staffed and dependable and handle routine reviews and difficult performance issues through HR.
Give Finance local operating insight as it sets the budget. Develop and carry out initiatives within that budget, use financial reports to track results, and adjust the work to address recurring problems.
Build productive local business and community relationships with Marketing and Programs. Run local execution of companywide competitions, community events and other scaled events under the Programs Director’s overall coordination, including staffing, site readiness, guest flow, day-of operations and closeout within approved authority.
Test systems and coverage before launch, coordinate specialist owners and stabilize operations after opening. Lead the whole Las Vegas gym, including Clip ’n Climb.
Everyday expectations
Use evidence to explain recommendations, costs and risks; act within approved staffing, budgets and policy.
Coach leaders through real responsibility and verify capability through observed work, not completed paperwork alone.
Keep operating updates and material-risk escalation current. Regional or companywide functions require a separate assignment.
Decisions and support
Make local operating and assigned launch-execution decisions within approved plans, standards, headcount, pay bands, budget and written delegation.
Partner with HR, Finance and technical owners. Make hiring and termination decisions within your scope without separate HR or CEO decision approval; use the established HR process. Seek approval for changes outside approved staffing or employment terms and for reserved launch decisions. You need current budgets, staffing plans, readiness decisions and specialist changes.
Preserve the gym’s local character while following company standards; another function’s safety or launch approval cannot be overridden.
Requirements
Substantial climbing-gym operating experience with demonstrated people leadership, financial judgment and local relationship-building.

Sustained results improving a gym, rebuilding a team or leading an opening. A previous launch is not required; a realistic work sample can demonstrate capability where past opportunity was limited.
Ability to hire and train a whole team, handle difficult conversations and work agreed opening, closing, weekend and peak coverage.

Salary: $80,000–$100,000 per year. Individual offers are based on demonstrated capability within the approved range.

Lead the whole gym, including fun wall reservation space, team hiring and training, opening readiness, and ongoing operations. During launch, expect opening, closing, weekend and peak shifts, initially at least three opening or closing shifts weekly, subject to the final coverage model. The start date depends on useful work and opening readiness; required training travel is company-paid.

Learn the site’s people, risks and operating systems, then agree on priorities with your manager and functional partners. Review staffing, training readiness and the budget, coach local leaders and establish useful reporting. For an opening, build toward the staff simulation and approved readiness gates before independent operations.
