What are the responsibilities and job description for the Direct Care Staff position at Climb Care Residential?
About the Role:
We are looking for caring and reliable Direct Care Staff to support individuals with developmental disabilities. You will help participants reach their goals, stay safe, and be active in their homes and community.
Responsibilities:
- Provide support and assistance to participants in daily activities.
- Follow individual program and intervention plans.
- Record and track participant progress.
- Provide individual or group therapy sessions.
- Attend regular meetings and trainings.
- Assist with transportation to appointments and activities.
- Prepare materials and equipment for activities.
- Complete required documentation and reports.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants.
- Follow all company policies and procedures.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Must be 18 years or older.
- High School diploma or GED required.
- One year of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities (preferred).
- CPR and First Aid certification required.
- Assistance with Medications Certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Must be free from communicable diseases.
- Must meet all training requirements under IDAPA 16.04.17.204.
Requirements:
- Valid Idaho Driver’s License and safe driving record.
- Able to lift, transfer, and assist participants as needed.
- Able to push/pull wheelchairs and assist with daily living activities.
- Able to observe and document participant behavior accurately.

Pay: $12.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
