Maintenance Mechanic

Brief Description

POSITION SUMMARY

The maintenance mechanic is responsible for keeping the equipment in the ClimateMaster plant in good

operating condition by performing preventative maintenance, machine tests, troubleshoots, removing

technical issues, and performing emergency repairs.

• Installation and assembling of new machines and equipment
• Maintaining a schedule for inspecting, servicing, and testing machinery
• Diagnosing and repairing machine failures
• Installing replacement parts
• Using power tools and different hand tools to execute assigned maintenance tasks and work

Skills & Abilities

Education: High School Diploma or GED. Occupational or Vocational training in Electronics, Electrical,

HVAC, controls or similar field preferred

Experience:

• Experience as Commercial/Industrial service technician or equivalent combination of education

Computer Skills: Microsoft office tools such as Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
