Experienced HVAC Service Technician – 3 Years Required
Climatech Mechanical Services is looking for an experienced HVAC Service Technician with more than three years of hands-on experience servicing and repairing heating and cooling systems.
We are a locally established, HVAC-focused company that has served Connecticut for more than 32 years. You’ll work alongside experienced HVAC professionals, including master and lead technicians with more than 20 years in the trade.
As a smaller company, we work closely with our technicians, provide hands-on support, and create opportunities for employees to improve their skills and advance their careers.

Responsibilities
- Diagnose, service, and repair heating and air-conditioning systems
- Perform preventive maintenance and system safety inspections
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, airflow, refrigerant, and combustion-related problems
- Explain system findings and repair recommendations to customers
- Complete accurate service notes, invoices, and equipment documentation
- Maintain an organized service vehicle, tools, and inventory
- Follow company procedures and applicable safety requirements
- Participate in the company’s after-hours on-call rotation
Pay
- $36–$45 per hour
- Pay is based on experience, licensing, and technical ability

Requirements
- More than three years of professional HVAC experience required
- Experience servicing both heating and cooling equipment
- Ability to independently diagnose and repair HVAC system problems
- EPA Section 608 certification
- Connecticut HVAC trade license preferred
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
- Strong communication and customer-service skills
- Basic computer and mobile-device skills
- Ability to perform the physical duties associated with HVAC service work
- Willingness to work after hours, weekends, and occasional holidays as part of an on-call rotation
- Commitment to continued training and professional improvement
- Must be able to satisfy applicable pre-employment screening requirements
