We’re looking for a remote Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst who will play a key role in supporting the bank’s financial strategy and decision-making processes. This position is responsible for budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and performance analysis to drive informed business decisions and ensure financial health. What You’ll Be Driving As An FP&A Analyst
- Develop, maintain, and enhance financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports analyzing variances, trends, and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Support the budgeting and forecasting processes by gathering data, coordinating with business units, and ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Conduct ad hoc financial analyses to support strategic initiatives, capital allocation, and cost management projects.
- Collaborate with department heads to understand business drivers, risks, and opportunities, providing financial guidance as needed.
- Monitor and report on the bank’s financial performance against targets, proactively identifying areas for improvement.
- Assist with regulatory reporting and ensure compliance with internal controls and policies.
- Participate in the development and implementation of financial systems and process improvements.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 2 years of experience in FP&A, financial analysis, or related roles, ideally within the banking or financial services sector.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, financial modeling, and data analysis; experience with financial software and ERP systems a plus.
- Solid understanding of banking industry financial statements, products, and regulations.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative skills.
- Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- High level of integrity and commitment to confidentiality.
- Full-time, remote work as per company policy.
- Standard banking hours, with occasional overtime during peak reporting periods.
- Frequent communication (speaking and listening) in person, via email, text, phone or video chat.
- Frequent use of PC, including typing or sustained attention to monitor.
