We're a team that's strong together. Climate Express has been moving full truckloads of freight across the United States for 29 years. Our 200 company drivers play a crucial role in keeping families supplied with essential household goods. We offer safe, high-mileage opportunities with consistent paychecks and solid home time.
Equipment
Our fleet consists of 2022 or newer Volvo 760 automatic trucks, optimized with ergonomically designed seats and position-perfect steering. Each truck features:
- 70" L /96 W sleepers
- Pull-out tabletops
- Larger-than-average built-in refrigerators
- Auxiliary power units (built-in manual power inverters with 3500W of power)
- Dual antennas
- Flat-screen TV mounts
- Satellite radios
In addition, our trucks are equipped with right-way scales on trucks and trailers, as well as Elite Pass for scales, tolls, and bridges.
Pay
We offer competitive pay rates, starting at $0.55cpm - $0.58cpm. You'll receive paid loaded or empty on practical miles, with detention, layover, and additional compensation determined by individual load and driver hours. Raises and bonuses are also available, with a weekly average of $2600-$3200.
Home Time
Drivers get to spend two full days off after working 12-14 days within our running area. Depending on location, some areas may offer additional drive-through, while drivers in outlying areas may stay out longer and receive up to four days off. Prior to hiring, you'll be provided with agreed-upon home time in writing and honored.
Loads & Routes
We transport goods primarily in the middle corridor of the US, with 98% of freight originating in MO. The majority of loads are drop-and-hook freight, with reefer trailers used for climate-controlled loads. No dedicated routes are assigned, and we try to accommodate special events and appointments when needed.

Rider & Canine Policies
Both rider and canine policies are available, with details outlined below:
- Rider Policy: Available day 1, 1 passenger 12 years of age or older
- Canine Policy: $500.00 fee per pet, 2 small or 1 large dog, deduction of $100.00 a week until paid off, non-refundable once pet has been placed in truck
Requirements
To join our team, you'll need:
- 1-year recent tractor and trailer experience
- No more than 3 moving violations in 3 years
