HVAC Helper

Climate Champions is hiring an HVAC Helper to support our technicians on residential and commercial jobs around the Wheaton area. This is a hands-on way to break into the HVAC trade. You will learn directly from experienced techs while helping with installs, service calls, and maintenance. One to two years of experience is a plus but not required. If you are reliable, eager to learn, and ready to work, we want to hear from you.

What you will do:

• Assist lead technicians on installs, repairs, and maintenance
• Load, unload, and organize tools, equipment, and materials
• Help move and set up units, ductwork, and supplies on the job site
• Keep work areas clean and safe
• Learn HVAC systems, tools, and procedures on the job
• Communicate clearly with techs and customers

What we are looking for:

• Must live within 25 minutes of Wheaton, Illinois
• 1 to 2 years of HVAC experience preferred but not required
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Able to lift 50 lbs and work in attics, crawl spaces, and outdoor conditions
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
• Dependable and punctual
• Team player with a good attitude

Pay: $15.00 – $25.00 per hour

Supplemental pay: Bonus opportunities, spiffs

Schedule: Monday to Friday, day shift, on-call as needed
