Duties
- Perform tire services including mounting, balancing, rotation, and replacement with precision and care
- Conduct oil changes and fluid top-offs efficiently to maintain vehicle health
- Assist with wheel alignments to ensure optimal handling and tire longevity
- Use hand tools and power tools safely to perform routine maintenance and repairs
- Inspect vehicles for mechanical issues, diagnose problems using automotive diagnostics tools, and communicate findings clearly
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining services performed and recommending additional maintenance when appropriate
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times
Requirements
- Prior dealership or automotive repair experience is highly preferred
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools and power tools
- Familiarity with automotive diagnostics, vehicle maintenance procedures, and service techniques such as oil changes and alignments
- Ability to lift heavy tires and equipment safely during service procedures
- Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude
- Basic understanding of automotive systems and mechanical principles
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is required
- Sales aptitude is a plus for recommending additional services to customers
