As a Make Ready Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our facilities are in top-notch condition and ready for occupancy. Your expertise will be essential in performing various maintenance tasks, from electrical work to mechanical repairs. You’ll be the go-to person for making sure everything is functioning smoothly and efficiently, creating a welcoming environment for residents and guests alike.
What you’ll do
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on residential properties, ensuring all units are move-in ready.
- Utilize programmable logic controllers to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively.
- Apply your electrical experience to address wiring issues and perform installations.
- Read and interpret schematics to execute repairs accurately and efficiently.
- Oversee facilities maintenance tasks, including plumbing and general upkeep.
Basic qualifications
- Strong mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience in maintenance roles.
- Proficient in using an ohmmeter for electrical diagnostics.
- Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders.
Preferred qualifications
- Previous supervisory experience in a technical or maintenance environment.
- Background in manufacturing processes related to facilities upkeep.
- Experience with residential painting techniques to enhance property aesthetics.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
