Maintenance Technician - Full Time
Be a key member of our growing team! We are a privately owned, local management company in Lansing looking for a trustworthy, customer service oriented, experienced maintenance technician to help maintain apartment buildings in the greater Lansing area. A strong work ethic and good people skills are a must!
Your main areas of responsibility will be:
- Fulfilling resident work orders
- Preparing units for the next resident
- Ensuring unit is operational and up to code
- Replace/upgrade unit when necessary (new cabinets, sinks, faucets, tile etc.)
- Working with suppliers and property managers
- Maintenance of common areas and building exteriors
- Ability to work independently and complete tasks in a timely manner
- This position requires you to be on call some nights and weekends
Requirements:
- Valid driver's license
- Reliable transportation
- Pass background screening
- High school degree or equivalent
A minimum of 3 years experience in most, but not necessarily all of the following areas:
- Electrical
- Plumbing
- Lock installation
- HVAC
- General carpentry
- Drywall repair

This is a full time, non-exempt (hourly) position. *Non-exempt (hourly) positions may be eligible for overtime.
Schedule: Monday - Friday | 9:00am - 5:00pm

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour (90 day evaluation to determine if eligible for pay increase)
