- Lead and manage the IAM Keychain Operations team, including coaching, performance management, and prioritization of workload.
- Oversee and own the day-to-day operations of enterprise key and certificate lifecycle management, ensuring security, reliability, and compliance.
- Manage operational KPIs/SLAs/SLOs for key and certificate services, focusing on availability, turnaround, renewal success, and incident reduction.
- Develop, maintain, and enforce runbooks, SOPs, on-call rotations, and escalation processes for keychain operations.
- Supervise end-to-end lifecycle management for TLS/SSL certificates, encryption/signing keys, and secrets (issuance, renewal, rotation, revocation, storage, decommissioning).
- Ensure secure practices for key handling and integration with enterprise standards and technologies (PKI, CAs, HSMs, KMS, secret vaults).
- Guarantee compliance with security policies and regulatory frameworks such as PCI-DSS, SOX, ISO 27001, and SOC2.
- Lead periodic access reviews, audits, and address findings in collaboration with Security Architecture and GRC teams.
- Act as escalation lead for incidents related to certificates, keys, HSM/KMS, and secret vaults; drive root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Oversee change management processes (CAB), ensuring minimal disruption and robust rollback planning.
- Identify and drive automation opportunities for certificate/key management workflows, renewals, provisioning, and reporting.
- Promote continuous improvement in observability, monitoring, and proactive notification for keychain services.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across application, platform, cloud, and security teams to onboard services and maintain best practices.
- Manage vendor relationships (CA, HSM, KMS providers), including support escalation and strategic alignment.
- Communicate operational status, risks, and roadmap progress to leadership and relevant stakeholders.
- Mentor team members and foster a culture of operational excellence, documentation discipline, and automation.
