Overview:
Our client, a leading financial services organization based in McLean, VA, is seeking an experienced React/TypeScript Developer to join their dynamic development team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in modern front-end technologies, a passion for building scalable, high-performance web applications, and experience working in an Agile enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain responsive web applications using React.js and TypeScript.
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers, backend developers, and product managers to implement new features.
- Ensure high performance, scalability, and responsiveness of the user interface.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across multiple environments.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and front-end development trends.
Required Qualifications:
- 5β7 years of professional experience in front-end development.
- Strong proficiency with React.js, TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6 ), and HTML5/CSS3.
- Experience with state management libraries (Redux, Context API, or similar).
- Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and integration with backend services.
- Familiarity with testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress, etc.).
- Experience with version control systems such as Git/GitHub.
- Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in the financial services or enterprise technology sector.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and cloud environments (AWS, Azure).
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
