What are the responsibilities and job description for the Body Shop Estimator position at Cliff's Body Repair?
We are seeking a detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Collision Estimator. The ideal candidate will assist in creating accurate repair plans with our technicians following OEM guidelines while working with insurance companies to negotiate and come to an agreed figure. We are a locally owned and operated shop looking to obtain multiple OEM certifications in order to grow and better serve our customers and community.
Duties:
- Navigate CCC to write repair plans
-Research OEM procedures and apply them to collision damage vehicle
- Order parts from various vendors
- Support other employees as needed
Requirements:
- Previous experience in an estimator role require
- Ability to work efficiently and maintain high-quality standards
- Customer service skills to interact with team members and customers effectively
- Familiarity OEM procedures and tooling is preferred
-NYS insurance adjuster license preferred
- Valid driver's license required for moving vehicles within the facility
