Cliff Drysdale Tennis (CDT) and Peter Burwash International (PBI) are seeking an enthusiastic, detail-oriented Travel Camp Sales Manager to join our Experience Travel team. This entry-level sales position is ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, delivering exceptional customer service, and helping guests create memorable travel experiences centered around tennis, pickleball, padel, and resort vacations.
Working closely with the Experience Travel team, this role supports both custom travel planning and signature event sales while gaining hands-on experience in sales, event operations, and the hospitality industry. We are looking for someone that is detail oriented, self-motivated and passionate about hospitality and creating memborable guest experiences.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
Customer Relations and Sales
- Participate in sales training and ongoing coaching provided by the Experience Travel team.
- Builds and manages a pipeline of customers on travel for custom trips and event sales through phone, email, and online inquiries.
- Build relationships with guests by providing exceptional customer service and personalized travel recommendations.
- Assist guests through the reservation process for custom travel experiences and signature events.
- Collaborate with the sales team to ensure accurate sales, invoicing, reservation, and monthly reporting.
- Prepare and send guest confirmation communications and pre-arrival information.
- Meet individual and team sales goals while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Answer and/or respond to all emails and phone calls to the assigned extension in a timely and professional manner
- Support the travel department as needed with various tasks.
Event Management
- Assist with registration management, guest modifications, and event-related customer communications.
- Support the planning and execution of signature events alongside the Events Team.
- Coordinate promotional items, welcome gifts, and event materials.
Team Collaboration
- Participate in and contribute to staff meetings.
- Collaborate across departments and resort locations to ensure exceptional guest experiences.
- Adapt to changing priorities, schedules, and business needs in a fast-paced environment to meet the department goals.
- Demonstrate a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn.
Admin Support
- Website and Marketing Support
- Assists in staffing and booking flights for custom camps and signature events
- Assists with expense reports and reconciling
- Industry Research
EXPERIENCE:
Strong problem solving skills, organizational skills, attention to detail, written and verbal communication, and customer facing skills preferred. Previous customer service and interest in racquet sports, travel, hospitality, or event management preferred, not required. Proficiency in excel and salesforce preferred, not required.
SCHEDULE:
Normal hours are 8-5 Monday through Friday. Work time might fall outside of normal work hours, including evenings, weekend, and holidays. Work could include travel to camp destinations or CDT or PBI managed resort locations.
