Amusement Attendant

POSITION SUMMARY: Assist Guests with bowling and arcade amenities with prompt, efficient, and courteous service in accordance with CCCH & department standards.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Specific areas of responsibility including, but not limited to:

• Provide a friendly and welcoming greeting to Guests and advice on bowling center services, promotions, prices, and special offerings.
• Assist Guest with shoe rentals, lane assignments, locker rentals, center information, questions, problems, processing payment transactions, balance register at close of shift.
• Operate InfoGenesis, Brunswick System Control, and public address system.
• Answer telephones, route calls, take messages, provide information to callers.
• Notify technicians of any mechanical equipment failures.
• Monitor and track open play lanes, reservations, and league bowling.
• Ensure tables, seating areas, counters, arcade and general bowling center areas are clean & well-ordered during operational hours.
• Take and serve drink orders, ensuring to follow Title 4 & CCCH standards.
• Maintain knowledge of beverage menu and all relevant products.
• Maintain knowledge of all CCCH & department special events and promotions.
• Observe alcoholic beverage service rules according to Title 4 & department standards to prevent serving minors, over-serving or serving intoxicated guests.

QUALIFICATIONS

Opportunities for Internships, Apprenticeships, and Coordinated Work Study programs may be available in lieu of formal education and work experience requirements for this position for enrolled members of the Yavapai-Apache Nation.

1. Required Education: HS DIPLOMA  Preferred Education: N/A
2. Work Experience:
   1. Customer Service, Retail, Waiter/Waitress, Bowling Center experience preferred but not required.
3. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: N/A
   1. Pass a basic math test.
4. Professional Licenses & Certifications Requirements:
   1. Must have the ability to obtain valid Title 4 and Alcohol Awareness Certification upon hire.
   2. Must have the ability to obtain valid Food Handlers Certification upon hire.
5. Must be 18 years old and be available for all shifts, including weekends and holidays.
6. Must be eligible to work in the U.S. and pass a drug test and background check for an AZ Gaming License.
7. Must adhere to all Cliff Castle Casino Hotel policies and procedures.
8. Must be committed to providing exceptional guest service through a welcoming, friendly, and professional environment. Aim to exceed guest expectations with attentive, personalized service and prompt responses and resolution.
