Duties

- Lead landscaping projects from planning through execution, ensuring timely completion within budget and safety guidelines
- Manage irrigation systems—installation, repair, and maintenance—to ensure optimal water usage and landscape health
- Conduct tree care activities including pruning, removal, and health assessments to promote safety and growth
- Ensure all equipment is properly maintained, cleaned, and operated safely by team members
- Provide training and mentorship to crew members on horticultural best practices, safety procedures, and customer service standards
Skills
- Extensive experience in landscape maintenance and landscaping techniques
- Proven supervising experience leading outdoor crews or teams in a fast-paced environment
- Strong knowledge of lawn care practices including fertilization, aeration, pest control, and mowing techniques
- Familiarity with construction activities related to landscape projects such as planting beds or hardscaping elements
- Skilled in tree care practices—pruning, health assessment, removal—and understanding of arboriculture principles
