Product Manager, Commerce / Operations Systems

Overview
We’re seeking a Product Manager to lead the development and optimization of internal commerce and operational systems that support partner workflows, revenue tracking, and financial reporting.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building complex, high-impact backend and operational products where accuracy, scalability, and process reliability matter just as much as feature delivery.
You’ll partner closely with Engineering, Data, Operations, and Finance to translate complex business workflows into clear product requirements and scalable systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end product lifecycle for commerce, operational, and financial reporting systems
- Translate business and operational needs into clear, structured, and testable product requirements
- Improve partner onboarding, configuration, and workflow tools to drive efficiency and reduce friction
- Lead initiatives related to data feeds, link management, tracking, and attribution workflows
- Drive revenue validation and reporting processes with a focus on accuracy and auditability
- Collaborate with Engineering and Data teams to define system behavior, dependencies, and edge cases
- Use data to prioritize roadmap decisions, measure outcomes, and identify process or system gaps
- Ensure solutions are scalable, reliable, and production-ready in high-volume environments
- Continuously improve system quality, operational efficiency, and cross-functional workflows
Qualifications
- 5 years of Product Management experience (ideally in complex technical or operational environments)
- Experience owning products with measurable business impact
- Strong ability to write detailed product requirements and functional specifications
- Strong systems thinking with the ability to anticipate edge cases and downstream impacts
- Comfortable working closely with technical teams on APIs, workflows, integrations, and data structures
- Proven experience collaborating cross-functionally with Engineering, Data, Operations, and business stakeholders
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
Preferred Experience
- Experience in commerce, marketplace, affiliate, fintech, adtech, or operational workflow products
- Experience building internal tools or systems that support business operations
- Familiarity with data quality, observability, attribution, or reporting systems
- Experience working in spec-driven or highly detail-oriented product environments
- Background in high-volume transactional or partner-facing systems
