Qualifications
- Ensures that all assigned marketing materials meet regulatory, brand, product, and quality standards.
- Leveraging appropriate tools, this role works to automate and enhance the review process for marketing collateral, enabling efficient monitoring, documentation, and enforcement of compliance requirements.
- Acts as a strategic partner to marketing, product, and compliance teams, ensuring that only approved and compliant materials are distributed and maintained.
- Experience using compliance monitoring platforms (e.g., Perform Line, Smarsh, Proofpoint, Hearsay).
- Understanding of insurance marketing regulations (e.g., NAIC guidelines, state DOI requirements).
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with digital asset management (DAM) systems and marketing workflow tools (e.g., Adobe Workfront, JIRA, Asana).
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Automated Compliance Review:
- Conducts First Line of Defense duties by utilizing appropriate tools to scan and monitor marketing collateral for compliance with insurance regulations, brand standards, and product accuracy, executing revisions and communicating changes to marketing partners as required.
- Manual Oversight & Escalation:
- Conducts manual reviews and escalates flagged content for compliance review (Second Line of Defense) when necessary.
- Quality Control:
- Ensures the overall quality and accuracy of an asset including spelling, grammar, print specifications, and asset metadata.

- Campaign Support:
- Collaborates with other project team members to ensure approved materials are market ready and available for use within the required timeframe.
- Lifecycle Management:
- Uses internal systems to track expiration dates and ensure timely removal of outdated or non-compliant materials. Provides proactive recommendations when renewing assets, based on any relevant changes during the previous approval period.
- Audit Readiness:
- Leverages reporting capabilities to support internal and external audits, maintaining a clear record of reviews, approvals, and compliance actions
- Governance & Asset Management:
- Partners with Digital Asset Librarians to maintain a centralized repository of approved marketing materials and ensure only current, compliant assets are accessible to internal and external stakeholders.
- Process Optimization:
- Continuously improves compliance workflows by integrating automation tools and refining review processes.
