What are the responsibilities and job description for the IOP Tech Aide/Mental Health Technician position at CLHG-Dequincy LLC?
The IOP Technician/Aide works under the direction and supervision of a professional staff member to provide supportive services to participants. He/She will assist providing activities to participants, monitor patient’s vital signs and assist with ambulation and toileting. Assists dietary in serving lunches/snacks and assist with transportation services.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Experience/desire to work with mentally and or physically disabled adults and older adults.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment completing a variety of job tasks.
- Good communication, organizational and critical thinking skills
- Able to evaluate, prioritize, seek guidance and follow through with assignments
- Must be able to read, write and speak English
