Security Officer (Unarmed) – Duties And Responsibilities
- Monitor and authorize the entry and exit of tenants, employees, visitors, and other individuals to ensure secure access to the facility.
- Conduct periodic premise checks to identify safety hazards, suspicious activity, or security concerns.
- Contact emergency responders-such as police, fire, or ambulance personnel-when assistance is required.
- Prepare clear and accurate reports documenting daily activities, incidents, and any unusual events.
- Communicate effectively with staff and supervisors in person to relay information, updates, and concerns.
- Must have a valid Maryland Security Guard Card.
- Retired Law Enforcement preferred.
- Experienced Security Officer preferred.
- 25 years old and older preferred.
- Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
- All applicants are subject to a Background Check and Drug Testing
- Applicants must have reliable transportation
- Hours: Sunday to Saturday 1:00 AM to 6:00 AM.
