Job Title: Preschool Director
Location: Cupertino, CA

Job Description: We are seeking an experienced, passionate Preschool Director for a preschool in Cupertino, CA. The Director will begin once the program is fully licensed and operational and will lead the school through its opening and early growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations in compliance with California CCL regulations
- Lead and support teaching and administrative staff
- Ensure a safe, nurturing, developmentally appropriate environment
- Implement high-quality early childhood curriculum
- Build strong relationships with families and the community
- Maintain enrollment, staffing, and regulatory compliance
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field
- Meets California Preschool Director requirements
- 2 years of preschool director/ assistant director experience
- Strong knowledge of California licensing standards
General Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Preschool Director or Assistant Director
- Strong knowledge of California licensing, Title 22, health, and safety regulations
- Background in education administration and curriculum implementation
- Demonstrated leadership and team-building skills
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and independent decision-making abilities
- Excellent computer skills, including Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Email)
- Experience using CRM and childcare management systems (enrollment, attendance, daily logs, curriculum, observations)
- Strong customer-service orientation and family engagement skills
- Must meet California requirements for Child Care Center Director (education experience as required by CCL Title 22)
