About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Custodial Tech to join our team at Frederick. As a Custodial Tech you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our facilities. You will play a critical role in ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our employees and visitors. Your attention to detail and ability to work independently will be essential to your success in this role. This is a full-time position with competitive compensation and benefits.
Schedule:
- Monday- Friday 6am-10am & 2:00pm-6:00pm, Split Shift
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to pass BCI/FBI and Child Abuse Background Check
- Previous experience in custodial/maintenance work
- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment up to 50 lbs
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent time management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with floor care equipment such as buffers and scrubbers
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and their proper use
- Ability to work flexible hours
- Strong communication skills
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
Responsibilities:
- Performing routine cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping, and dusting
- Maintenance duties throughout the center
- Maintaining the cleanliness of classrooms, restrooms, break rooms and common areas
- Emptying trash and recycling bins
- Monitoring and restocking cleaning supplies
- Reporting any maintenance or safety issues to management
Skills:
As a Custodial Tech, you will utilize your attention to detail and time management skills to ensure that our facilities are clean and organized. You will also use your physical strength and ability to lift heavy equipment to perform routine cleaning tasks. Your knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment will be beneficial in maintaining a safe and healthy environment. Additionally, your strong communication skills will be essential in reporting any maintenance or safety issues to management.
