Come join our team here at Cleveland Truck Repair! We are located right off of Broadway Avenue on Rockefeller Avenue in Downtown Cleveland. We are a heavy duty semi tractor/trailer repair facility. We are looking for new diesel mechanics to come join our team! If you're just starting out as a junior diesel mechanic CTR can teach you all that there is to know in order for you grow as a diesel mechanic, if you are an experienced diesel mechanic we are hiring and would love for you to be a part of our team and grow with our company!
We are looking for a full-time fleet Diesel Mechanic to work 40 hours per week, Monday-Friday, in our shop. Hiring for 1st shift 7:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m., 2nd shift 12:30 p.m.-9:00 p.m. "Starting" wage of $30 an hourly rate. Rate of pay will be determined by your previous experience.
Qualified Candidate should have experience with the following:
- Electrical Trouble shooting and Diagnostics
- Preventative Maintenance Services and DOT on tractors, trailers, forklift
- Engine repairs
- Air Brakes
- Tires
- Clutch
- Transmission
- Trouble shooting air leaks and other repairs needed
- Exhaust repairs
- General housekeeping – Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Prepare, Complete and Organize required paperwork.
- Welding
- Must have own tools and tool box
- Team Player – Effective Communication with other departments, ability to work with others.
- Stand and move around for extended periods of time with no sitting
- Repetitive light lifting of up to 50 lbs.

Experience:
- Diesel maintenance/engine repair: 5 years (Preferred)
- Mechanical knowledge: 1 year (required)
