Cleveland Magazine seeks editorial interns for all academic semesters. We invite candidates to apply for consideration three times a year for the three academic semesters.
Responsibilities
Intern will be shown how a city magazine does fact-checking, researching, writing articles and blog posts. Our interns are highly valued and integrated into the editorial team and play an important role in our magazines. Interns are given plenty of opportunity for professional development.
Qualifications
We are looking for intellectually curious journalists with experience at a college newspaper or magazine. The ideal candidate also has a flair for magazine-style feature writing and knowledge of Northeast Ohio. Blogging experience is helpful. Candidates must live or go to college in Northeast Ohio. Minority candidates are encouraged to apply.
